Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $65,000-$85,000

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.


SUMMARY:

The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) position is directly responsible for execution of the sales activities and sales programs for the company within their territory under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager. The TSR ensures execution of developed strategies, sales plans, marketing programs, and all related activities are in accordance with overall sales objectives. Maximize sales volume and profitability in their territory. Assists Regional Sales Manager – Residential (RSM) with execution of sales strategies, executing the tactics and action plans to achieve the plan objectives. Leads, motivates, and directs training initiatives, display placements, new product introductions, sales promotions, and other sales related activities. Manages the leads process for their territory to document customer contacts and provide closure. This role requires alignment with cross-functional teams to effectively manage the territory.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Manage and build relationships with channel partners as directed by RSM.
  • Responsible for all business conducted with Perlick products within their respective territory.
  • Collaborate with RSM on account growth plans and forecasting.
  • Execution of strategic plans designed to maximize sales and deliver profitable growth with customers in territory.
  • Interact with all Perlick departments ensuring customer expectations are achieved; sales and profit goals are met; and influence within our company.
  • Serves as a product expert. Understands and can effectively articulate product features, function, benefits, and competitive advantage of our product line to potential customers.
  • Primary conduit of information between Perlick and customer base. Keeps the RSM aware of customer/market needs, changes, and competitive activity.
  • Manage expenses to stay within assigned budget.
  • Work with RSM sales to minimize channel conflict.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly territory sales reporting activities.
  • Work with CRM software tools such as Salesforce.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to be successful in this role.

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or institution
  • Candidate will ideally be located in Las Vegas, Nevada - other areas of Nevada will be considered
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food, or appliance industries
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of continually meeting and exceeding Management’s defined sales targets and new client development objectives
  • Proven ability in execute business plans
  • Understanding of marketing functions and concepts
  • Professional selling and strong negotiating capabilities
  • Sound knowledge of business and management principles and practices
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive sales
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on internal and external customer service and support excellence
  • Highly motivated by challenge, incentives and excellent at opening doors and closing the deal
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel regularly (50%-75%)
